Her Reflection
One of the most rewarding parts of leadership is helping someone see in themselves what they cannot yet see on their own.
This is not to say skill and experience do not matter. They do.
But sometimes people step into roles with gaps to close, confidence to build, or experience still to gain. And when they bring humility, effort, passion, and a willingness to learn, growth can happen in remarkable ways.
That growth rarely happens on its own.
It often requires patience, coaching, difficult conversations, steady guidance, and far more time than many people realize.
It is real work.
But it can also be deeply rewarding work.
There is something meaningful about watching someone begin to trust their judgment, strengthen their skills, and step into responsibilities they once doubted they could handle.
Sometimes the greatest leadership wins are quiet ones.
They look like someone becoming capable, confident, and trusted over time.
These moments are easy to overlook because they rarely come with applause or recognition.
But we should notice them. We should celebrate them.
Because helping someone grow into their potential is our responsibility and can be one of the most fulfilling parts of leadership.
